In the Italian language, TAVOLA means so- mething more from its mere vocabulary traslation of THE TABLE. The word carries an intrinsic powerful meaning that relates to the whole con- cept and activity of eating.
It doesn’t just recall the wooden or marble table in the rural kitchens but the familiar gathering around it. It represents a place of enjoyment, of nourishment for both the body and the spirit. The restaurant then stems from this concept and create a sequence of spaces linked together by this peculiar l rouge. Although different one from another, the different realities share some details, could it be a material or an object or a color that keeps evolving from the outside to the inside, from the bottom oor to the higher oor.
The client will face a continously mutating reality that will project him into the world of a new italian simple yet embracing style and food. Modern and old materials will clash and join into a new armony and allow the user to focus on the food served by the italian chef.
